U11-U18 (Competitive) consists of the following teams (12A/AA,13A/AA, 15A/AA & 18AA). HCU is a leader in this space. In 2024, our aim is to have a compensated Head Coach dedicated to one team who is working toward their C license, and a trained Team Manager.
These groups practice 2 times per week with one game / week, and teams at these levels generally attend 1-3 tournaments per season. The focus of this program is on the continued individual and team development preparing our players for increased commitment to the game at higher levels of competition. Sessions cover the 5 Development Pillars (Technical, Physical, Mental, Tactical and Social Emotional) in a team setting.
For additional training, HCU offers “HCU Academy” which is optional extra training that targets the individual needs of the player at this age/stage. Ball Mastery, Physical Literacy, Goalkeeping, Ball Possession Skills, and Shooting & Finishing training blocks - with plans to introduce more individualized programming targeting the 5 Development Pillars. HCU teams will be participating in the Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL).

Team Formation Schedule will be sent out by the middle of March. The team formation sessions will begin in early April.

There will be an additional Team Formation fee of $30 per player.
All players will be required to attend the team formation sessions for placement in one of our competitive programs.
*If you are new to the program, you are required to purchase the HCU Gear (Game Jersey, Training Top, Shorts, Socks) which is an additional fee. Please ensure you request your sizes at registration to assist us with our ordering process.
*TeamSnap will be kept up to date throughout the season with any adjustments, location changes or cancellations. Please refer to your TeamSnap to review your most current weekly schedules throughout the season.
