PROGRAM DESCRIPTION


The Mini Program is the Foundation of HCU! This is where our young players begin to forge lifelong friendships, develop their first soccer skills and find their love for the beautiful game.

All practices are led by multiple trained HCU Staff Coaches who are with your player all summer long. They run sessions designed to keep players active in FUN game environments. Players here will be introduced to “The HCU Way” which is our newly minted program for U7-U11 player development program. 

Games are led by HCU staff as referees who will be trained to give little game tips and manage the game. Each team still requires a volunteer game coach(es), and ideally, a team manager who organizes the parents to create fun team moments for each team! We require these roles to make the whole system work, and to keep this program in each community, and as affordable as possible.

Description:

U7 Boys and Girls: 1 practice plus an End Year Closing Jamboree (Date/Time TBD)

Boys: Monday practice from 5:00-6:00pm
Girls: Tuesday practice from 5:00-6:00pm

Starting Date: Week of June 5th
End Date: Week of August 12th
Duration : 11 Weeks

*U7 Boys and Girls Uteck Programs are combined and sessions are on Mondays

U9 Boys and Girls: 1 practice, 1 game plus four Jamborees including an End Year Closing Jamboree (Jamboree Dates/Time are TBD)

Boys: Monday practice from 6:00-7:00pm & Wednesday game (6:00-7:00 or 7:00-8:00 and Game Schedule will be shared on TeamSnap)
Girls: Tuesday practice from 6:00-7:00pm & Thursday game (6:00-7:00 or 7:00-8:00 and Game Schedule will be shared on TeamSnap)

What is "Mini May Day"? (Only applying to U9/U11 Players)

The Program starts with “Mini May Day” (June 1st/June 2nd) at BMOSC field 4 indoor turf. Players meet their coaches for a practice, and parents will pick up their player's jersey, shorts and socks, with the option to purchase an HCU t-shirt. During the practice parents meet club staff for an important parent meeting / information session which will outline everything from future player pathways, HCU clothing, summer camps and much much more. This is an exciting event you will not want to miss! Schedule will be communicated by the end of April.
