HCU is a leader at the Pre-Performance level. We commit significant resources to best prepare our players for Performance and Provincial Program pathways - something that we have done very well this past season.
U11A (Pre Performance) – Players will be placed on this team and will play in the NSSL 7 v 7 league. The program will include 2 weekly turf sessions. The program focuses on the continued technical development of the players and allows players to understand the tactical side of playing in small-sided games.
U12A (Pre Performance) – This program is for players who played 11A (Pre performance) or did well in the SkillS Centre program the previous year. Players will be placed on this team and will play in the NSSL 7 v 7 league. The purpose of this program is to prepare players for potential Provincial Program entry or into the Under 13AA (Pre-Performance) program. It is from the U12A group that Soccer Nova Scotia identifies players for provincial team programs. The program focuses on the continued technical development of the players and continues to increase players' understanding of the tactical side of playing in small-sided games.
U13A (Pre-performance) – This is our second team at the U13 level, where players are still interested in pursuing Performance level soccer and desire a structured environment to continue to develop their skills. Players will be placed on this team and will play in the NSSL 7 v 7 league in the winter. The program focuses on the continued technical development of the players and continues to increase players' understanding of the tactical side of playing in small-sided games.
U13AA (Pre Performance) – This program is for graduating Under 12A players and/or players who have shown promise at the Under 12B level the previous season. Players will be placed on this team and will play in the NSSL 7 v 7 league in the winter. The purpose of this program is to prepare players for entry into the Performance program at the U15 AA and AAA level. It is also used to identify players for the Soccer NS provincial program. The program focuses on the continued technical development of the players and the transition from small sided games to 11 v 11 soccer.
For all HCU Pre-Performance groups there will be a Team Formation fee of $30
Team Formation + Training Dates / Time will be communicated by October 2nd

Please note: Additional fees will apply for club uniforms for players that require the club kit. Details will be communicated by club staff in the coming weeks.
