What is HCU Micro’s?
HCU Micros is our “Active Start” program for players born in 2021 (U3) and 2019/2020 (U5). These sessions are led by a trained HCU Early Educator with both the player and parent on the field together. Sessions also include HCU players from our youth teams helping out!
The goal is to introduce our Micros to fun with a soccer ball, develop relationships with older Club players who love working with young ones, and most importantly equip parents with fun at-home soccer activities that you can play with your child.
The program is aligned with Canadian Association of Physical Literacy, CSA Active Start models, as well as LTAD Model (Long term Athletic Development).

Things to Know:
- All communication about locations, field closures, etc. are communicated through a free downloadable app called TeamSnap. (add link to download app)
- You will receive an invitation two weeks before your program begins. Click HEREfor the tutorial of how to accept the invitation/add a family member!
- IMPORTANT: The person who registered with their email will receive the TeamSnap invitation. Please do not unsubscribe from our HCU email address. If you unsubscribe, you will not receive important program updates or the TeamSnap invitation.
- Participants do not require cleats or shin pads for the Micros program.
- Field closures will be communicated through the TeamSnap. You can also visit HRM Field Conditions
- It is required that one guardian per player participate in the on-field program.
- Due to limited field availability, there will be no partial refund/no make-up sessions due to inclement weather and/or field closures.
